When a conversation starts out like:
"I am not implying anything, but at the station"
and my response is
"Don't say anything else, I don't want to hear it"
and you continue
"We have a cleaning rotation"
and I say
"We tried that when we first got married, it didn't work for us, we never did it"
and you say
"I said it would benefit ME"
and I give you the look and then you say
"Why are mad?"
and I say
"I am the one who cleans the house, don't you think I would get mad, hell yeah I am mad, you just said I don't keep the house clean enough."
Lesson that SHOULD be learned here that most likely wasn't: Don't insult the person that does your laundry, dishes, cleans the toilets, picks up every night, cleans the counters, and everything else AND cooks your food, the results could be none of the things listed above getting done.
I don't think our house is perfect, but it is clean, I feel comfortable that if someone made a drop in surprise visit the worst you would find were toys on the floor, but with two kids running around who doesn't have toys on the floor? I can also say there aren't many people that you can drop in on and find a clean house, they would have dirty floors and dirty dishes in the sink these are rare sights around here so until you take the time to fold YOUR laundry that has been sitting in the corner for well over a week I don't want to hear about how I could do a better job keeping up the house, and by the way your welcome for folding YOUR clothes that YOU washed and didn't bother to take out of the dryer or fold. I took them out of the dryer and placed them in the basket and didn't fold them to see how long it would take you...I guess you won that one, because after a week I couldn't handle it anymore.
