Loving Being a "boy" Mom
I don't think that I could have girls-dresses, bows, tights, dress shoes, spaghetti strap shirts-too much for me. Bless the ladies that have girls because I could never do it. I enjoy getting dirty, watching & talking baseball, eating, burping, and playing super heroes while pushing cars. I know you can do all these things with a girl, but something about having boys makes it even better. I didn't know I knew so much about baseball until this past weekend. I hope that I will never be that mom that has a hard time keeping up, but I can only imagine what the next few years have in store. I love doing the "boy" things but I am glad that my boys will have enough sensitivity in them that they will respect a lady. They have a great role model and a mom that won't let them do anything less for a girl. Prime example-Friday I wore a dress...probably for the first time since I pregnant with Andrew and Ryan said, "Mommy, YOU LOOK REALLY PRETTY. Mommy, I like your outfit. I like that dress, it looks good on you." He thanks me for dinner every night too. Like I said, I love being a "boy" mom.
